How Suruchi Dua used the COVID downturn to Boost Her Clothing Biz 'Little Musketeer'

From an educationist to entrepreneurship, Suruchi Dua, the founder of Little Musketeer began her journey with children. Dua was a mentor of Accountancy and Business Studies in different Schools of Delhi and Gurugram and later she set up Little Musketeer, inspired by her daughters. Dua wanted to fill the gap in the clothing market as the options for kids clothing were very limited. "Children are my source and they are my world where I apply" she says of her business.

Why I became an entrepreneur:

I saw a gap for children's clothing in the market. I was inspired by my two daughters Aahana and Myra. Little Musketeer is the brainchild of a mom wanting to inspire and inspired by her two daughters. We meticulously craft the body shapes, sizes and colours and offer customisations at the priority of kids. We believe every kid is different and unique and we, here at our studio, empower their creativity by bringing it into reality.

How I am coping with the pandemic:

Produce regular goods and essential goods, as we have price sensitive customers. The economy is hit under the belt, so keep your product quality high and pricing reachable and accessible for your customers. Don't forget to give after services if needed.

Did COVID impact us?

I forecasted the outcomes of the pandemic soon as COVID spread. I tried to sell more online and ride the wave rather than be concerned about 'what next'.

As a small business, we have an opportunity to listen to the customer and be as innovative as possible.
