Video Of Woman Fearlessly Saving A Toll Worker During A Truck Crash Goes Viral

A woman saves a toll booth worker as a truck crashed into the toll booth and overturned in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. CCTV footage showed the woman quickly reaching into the toll booth to assist the worker after the truck slammed into the booth.

Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Awanish Sharan shared the clip on Twitter and praised the woman for risking her life to save the worker. The truck swerved into the toll booth to avoid crashing into a car that was waiting to pass through the toll gate. As the truck overturned, the woman quickly entered the toll booth and rescued the worker inside the booth.

Woman Saves Toll Worker

The incident took place on July 23, at the Lacchiwala toll plaza in Doiwala, Dehradun. The IAS officer Sharan shared the video on July 24 and wrote in the caption, “In Dehradun’s toll plaza accident, a young woman, without caring for her life, saved a toll plaza worker by rushing inside the booth”.

Reportedly, the injured woman was sent to a hospital after the cement-laden truck crashed into the toll plaza and tipped over.

Netizens praised the woman for her selfless act. One Twitter user praised her for her “Fantastic alertness and presence of mind”. Another user said she had a “heart of gold and courage of a warrior”.

Users saluted the woman for saving the toll booth worker for using her quick reflexes to save lives. A user said she should be rewarded for her act.

Several users mentioned they were glad that the family in the car was not hurt and also praised the truck driver for avoiding crashing into the car.

The short clip received more than 361,000 views and more than 13,800 likes.

Ambulance Crashes Into Toll Booth

In a horrific video, an ambulance filled with people crashed into a toll gate and four people passed away in the incident. A patient, two attendants, and a toll booth worker died in the accident as the ambulance skid on the road in Udupi, Karnataka. The driver of the ambulance sustained injuries in the crash.
