A video of a woman attacking a Zomato food delivery executive went viral on social media. In the video, the woman can be seen repeatedly hitting the food delivery agent with her footwear.

The viral video was originally posted on Twitter by someone claiming that the Zomato food delivery executive was carrying his order. He said the woman took the order from the delivery executive and began assaulting him with her footwear.
The user added that the food delivery executive later came to his home “crying and terrified that he would lose his job”. He clarified that he had not taken the video and that the clip was recorded by one of the bystanders.

- Reportedly, the delivery agent told the woman that the order was another person’s and asked her for the receipt to tally. The woman did not listen to the delivery executive and began to attack him.

- Netizens described the woman’s behaviour as disgraceful and unacceptable. Users urged Zomato to file a complaint against her on the behalf of the delivery agent.

- When a user tried to use the incident to bash female empowerment, the original poster said, “This has less to do with gender and more to do with entitlement of this particular woman.” He added that “mischievous conclusions” deflect from the nuance of the situation.
