At the Chess Olympiad in Chennai, two young fans challenged India's chess legend Viswanathan Anand, leaving him puzzled. Anand tweeted and shared the incident along with a video with the caption "The Question of the Day".
In the video shared by Anand, eight-year-old, twin sisters were heard speaking to the former world chess champion and asking him a question about the game. The kids spent a lot of time considering what to ask Anand at the beginning of the video before asking about "distracting" the chess pieces.
Further in the video, Anand initially misunderstood the question and began to respond. However, one of the young girls interrupted him a little while later and asked the same thing again. Anand responded in confusion, "I have no idea. I give it my all, but they keep getting distracted. I'm sorry, but I don't know how to distract them(pieces)."
He continued," You can try to distract the opponents." Watch the video here.

Twin Sisters' Question Puzzled Viswanathan Anand, Fans Reactions:
The question perplexed a number of online users along with Viswanathan Anand. One individual stated, "Vishy, you should grasp their inquiry in person. Maybe they would have devised some new ways that no one had ever imagined in the game. " One more said, "Only a mind as absorbed by the game as that could think along such lines!"
Another responded, "A piece can be distracted if it can move, threaten other pieces, take, etc. Simply Brilliant. When I consider it from the viewpoint of an eight-year-old, it is a wonderful question. Fourth wrote, "I believe what she means is how to trap and confuse your enemy pieces, letting them fall prey to your distraction."
