In Indian culture and society, respecting women is crucial. Despite this, there is massive gender discrimination and violence against women. Significant efforts have been undertaken in recent years in India to raise awareness and promote gender equality. Gender equality is being taught in schools as well.
In a now-viral video, a teacher teaches all of the guys in her class about respecting women. Her message was so passionately phrased and effective that it quickly went viral once the video was uploaded online. In this widely circulated social media film, the instructor gave a lesson on why to respect women in Hindi. It all started with a comment from a male student on a female student. The teacher took a few moments to explain to him and the entire class how disrespecting hurt women in society- be your mother or sister. On the comment, she said, "There should be a limit...treat women the way you want women in your family to be treated."
Teacher's Speech On Respecting Women
A Twitter user shared the video on Twitter writing, "In her way, this teacher gave a very important lesson of respect to the boys in her class."
The video depicts a teacher named Babita. While the lesson continues, she observes a girl standing inside the room. Several boys attempt to catcall her and persuade her to sit alongside them, but the teacher instructs the girl to sit in the front. Rather than getting upset, the teacher educates the boys. She pointed out- we make society, if you are bad for some girl, there is going to be some bad person for your sister or mother. She emphasized the existence of karma and how one's deeds always come back to them. She also illustrates how respect for different genders might reveal one's upbringing.

She gives an example of an advertisement in which a little child is whistling. His mother, on the other hand, chastises him because she recalls a guy whistling at her as she walks out of her house. The teacher adds that elderly women are not free to harassment and that our sons, like our girls, must be taught to behave. She then advises the boys to behave properly and to act as though someone wants to sit next to them. She also urges them to ensure no one is offended by their remarks. She says you behave good society, automatically society will behave good.
The video has received several replies, all of which praise the instructor and praise what she did with the pupils in class without becoming furious. Many were amazed by the speech and commended the teacher for conveying such a serious issue in a basic yet relevant way.
