A blogger restored faith in humanity when he helped an old woman who works as a ragpicker, start a new life. His video was shared by an IAS officer which went viral and everybody praised the man for his kindness.
Sharing the tales of kindness bring back faith in humanity and encourage people to do good. Society is ridden with crimes and cruel deeds as we see on the news, so the morale is mostly down when people read through their daily news updates. Stories like these show how people who need help, receive it and most importantly, someone with no ulterior motives helps someone, it makes a big difference. People in power claim to help the poor during their elections but those empty promises don't charm anyone anymore. It's the people with lesser power and resources who end up helping others in need.
Viral Video: Ragpicker Gets New Life
IAS officer Awanish Sharan shared a video of a blogger who helped an old ragpicker to become a vegetable seller. He captioned it as "Humanity". The blogger named Tarun Mishra shared his video two months back on his Instagram handle and wrote, "75 साल की दादी कचरा उठाकर अपना घर चलती हैं। (75-year-old grandmother picks up garbage and walks to her home.)". In the said video, Mishra can be seen interacting with the woman and asking what was she doing and she replies saying that she was picking up garbage. She also said that she sells the garbage to earn money. As the video continued, it can be seen that the blogger takes the woman in his car and reaches her home where he speaks to her and she can also be seen speaking to him sitting on the ground while she wipes her tears. The poor condition of the place was also shown in the video. Then he takes the woman in the car and drives to a market where he buys a selling cart and loads of vegetables. They come back to her place and sets up the cart with the help of some other people while the neighbours of the woman gather around to see it. They fire up an incense stick and break a coconut for good luck and the woman blesses the blogger with her palm on his head as a form of gratitude.
The video is bound to melt anyone's heart and make them believe in humanity. The blogger seems to have helped a lot of other people in need on his Instagram account. People all over the internet have praised him for his work.
