A Texas-based mother, her four daughters, and two daughters-in-law recently made the headlines for wearing a completely unexpected outfit to a restaurant. Photos and videos of their dinner date have been going viral on the internet. The women were all seen flaunting their wedding gowns.
On May 19, Alexis Houston posted a video on her social media handle of the women dressed extravagantly in their wedding gowns. She explained that the most expensive dresses that they owned deserved to be worn and enjoyed for more than just one day of their lives. She added that they had decided to make this a yearly tradition.

She shared that the women met each other before the dinner date to "tape each other into their dresses". She added the hashtag #mombodsquad, promoting women embracing their bodies post-childbirth and supporting each other.
She further explained that they got captured on phones by many people, received a lot of compliments, and some curious folks asked what the occasion was and even asked if they could take pictures with them. She disclosed that she and her girl squad did enjoy the attention.
The video has since garnered over 4.8 million views on Instagram.
In an interview with People, Terri Bonni, mother of 11 children—5 sons and 6 daughters—said that they decided to go out together without their husbands and toddlers, eat, and talk late into the night.
Sharing the inspiration behind the idea, she said that one of her daughters saw an Instagram reel of a woman joking about all the things that can be done to a wedding dress. Recommending that women try this idea, Bonni said it was completely fun and a 10/10 moment.
The women scheduled their dinner date at True Food, a restaurant located outside of Houston. They enjoyed a lavish meal, including roasted veggies, burgers, ancient grain bowls with steak, and chicken with pepper pesto.
They later moved to another restaurant to have desserts, cappuccinos, and lattes.
Bonno shared that the sight of seven brides together garnered quite a lot of attention among those diners, and it was hilarious.
She added that they had unknowingly picked the busiest night to go out. A local high school was celebrating graduation on the school grounds. She claimed that they felt a little bad for stealing the show but added that they had no idea about the graduation function. She also revealed that they got free parking at the valet.
