Video: Three Elderly Women Help New Mom To Calm Her Baby On Flight

Handling babies on flights and in public places gets tough as you don't know when their mood might take a turn for the worse. A video of a recent incident on a flight is going viral where a toddler started screaming and crying but three elderly women handled the situation well.

Kids are unpredictable, one moment they are having the best of time, being the centre of attention in a crowd and in the very next moment they will get upset because of too many people looking at them. New mothers find it difficult sometimes to handle their children in public places which makes many people frown in the crowd. However, everybody just passes comments and makes faces instead of thinking that she might need help because we don't know about kids really. A video of a similar incident is going viral but the reaction of three elderly ladies present at the scene is being praised.

Elderly Women Help New Mom on flight

The video was posted by Majically News on Instagram with the caption, "Thank you to these beautiful souls kindness is always a fantastic idea." In the video from inside a flight, three elderly women can be seen sitting next to each other while one of them holds a toddler in her lap and plays with her. The three of them were trying to calm her down by holding her hands and making her smile.

The little girl was reportedly on her first-ever flight and everything seemed to be going well. However, 30 minutes into the flight and she started screaming and crying. Her mother tried very hard to calm her down but she couldn't and was embarrassed and overwhelmed that the other passengers might get inconvenient. However, these three elderly ladies offered to help calm the baby and as soon as they picked her up, she stopped crying. One of the elderly women, who held the baby, was a teacher for more than 40 years. They helped the mother in taking care of the baby throughout the flight for which she was grateful.

A user wrote in the comments, "Thank u for showing what ”It takes a village to raise a child” really means!" The video showed how important it is for people to help new mothers instead of shaming them because raising children is not an easy job.
