Viral Video: Watch Desi Bride's Emotional Tribute To Her Father

Even while large Indian weddings with hundreds of guests and many dance performances set to Bollywood songs have grown common, the recently trending social media video will undoubtedly make you cry. An emotional yet lovely tribute to the bride's father during the wedding festivities can be seen in a recent video that has gone viral on social media.

The video clip was uploaded by Navika Productions on Instagram. Anavi Sharma, who is dancing with her sister on the stage, has been recognised as the bride. Both of the sisters danced to a mix of emotional songs, including a reprise of Papa Kehte Hain and Dilbaro from the movie Raazi. The caption reveals that the bride herself choreographed her performance.

Anavi Sharma, who is shown dancing in the video wearing a beautiful pink bridal dress, moved her father to tears with her performance. The father and daughter can even be seen hugging at the very end of the footage. Over 600 visitors are believed to have been moved by her performance.  You can watch the viral video here.

The video has received more than 43,740 likes and more than 5 lakh views so far. As a result, the bride's performance on social media moved other people, who shared their thoughts in the comments area. One user wrote, "Your performance made me cry .... #foreverdaddysgirl." Another user wrote, "It’s the hug for me at the very end!" One more user wrote, "Cutest thing on gram," while another wrote, "The song makes me cry. I loved the performance. " A user wrote, "Omg I’m crying." Others left crying and red-eyed emojis in the comments section.

Sharma, according to her Instagram bio, is a licenced social worker and a child and adolescent therapist. She is also the marketing director and a wedding choreographer at Navi K. Productions, which is an international wedding and event planning organisation. It is based in New Jersey, USA. She got married in the USA in July.
