Video Of Tired Bride Sleeping During Her Wedding Goes Viral

Indian weddings and their rituals are notoriously time-consuming and tiring affairs. Recently, a video of a bride falling asleep while during her wedding went viral on social media as netizens found the bride relatable.

The video was initially posted on social media by the sleepy bride herself almost a year ago, but it recently grabbed the attention of netizens and went viral. The bride shared that it was 6:30 AM and the wedding was still going on, leading to her taking a nap during the rituals. She wrote, “#justindianweddingthings” in the caption.

Bride Falls Asleep During Wedding

In the now-viral video posted by the bride herself, viewers can see the bride getting the rest she needs by sleeping during her wedding. The bride is still dressed up in her wedding attire and jewellery, and the groom is wide awake and standing beside her. Viewers can hear the wedding guests and family continue their conversation as the bride doses off.

One of the bride’s friends and wedding guests took the opportunity to record the sleepy bride.

The bride then took to social media and posted it with the caption, “Here comes the sleepy bride (Me)”.

The video was viewed more than 700,000 times and received more than 15,800 likes. People described the incident as relatable and shared their personal experiences. One user wrote, “Same thing happened with me in my wedding”. Another user said, “Cutest bride and relatable I can relate totally to it”.

While some users quipped that, “Nothing is more important than sleep”, others expressed their concern. One user wrote, “It is the result of many rituals carried out continuously the whole night without letting the girl take sufficient rest”.

Earlier this year, a video of a bride's emotional tribute to her father went viral. The bride, Anavi Sharma danced with her sister on stage to a mix of emotional songs as a tribute to her father. The bride choreographed the performance herself.

The bride's father can be shown tearing up at the performance and the father-daughter duo hug at the end of the video.
