Barso Re viral video of four dancers in Times Square, New York dancing to the song went viral due to their dance moves and choreography. The dancers performed a coordinated dance to the Bollywood song Barso Re from the film Guru.
The dance for Barso Re is often associated with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as she was the actor dancing in the original music video.
The group of four dancers consists of Aashika Jikaria, Shivani Shah, Shikhaa Patel, and Eshhpat. The song ‘Barso Re’ was sung by musicians Uday Mazumdar and Shreya Ghoshal and composed by AR Rahman. It is known for its dance steps, choreography, and melody.
The video of the four dancing to Barso Re went viral and after one week, the Instagram video received more than 10 million views and received more than 800,000 likes. The viral video was captioned “When it’s raining in Times Square at midnight”.

Graphic designer Ricky Pond, also known as the Dancing Dad had recently danced to the Shae Gill and Ali Sethi song Pasoori. Pond commented on the video “Love it. I’m going to do this, I’ll tag you.”
Users complimented the four dancers and said that “the coordination was perfected”. Another user described the dancers as squad goals. A user said that “I literally lost count of the number of times I watched this reel” and described it as wholesome.
One user described the video as “cringe” and users and supporters quickly defended the four dancers in the viral video. The critic was called a “blind hater” and their supporters said that the dance was good and not “cringe”.
Another user complained about their dressing style and described it as “bad”. Fans of the dancers and the viral video immediately countered the comment.
