The incident happened at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad during the ODI World Cup match between India and Pakistan.
In a video posted on X, the female police officer was seen admonishing a man in the audience for a certain reason. When he responded with anger, she lost her composure and slapped the man, provoking further outrage from him. He made an attempt to strike her in return, prompting the onlookers to step in and maintain order.

Another user defending the man in the video asked to share the whole video and demanded that the entire video be shared about how it started, the reason behind him hitting the man and ultimately questioning the authorities' intention. Furthermore, he questioned the fact that 'Is the man being blamed just because the person he hit is a girl?'
