In a video gone viral, a teenage schoolgirl wearing her schoolbag on her shoulders can be seen jumping to her mother's rescue by lifting the auto-rickshaw toppled over the latter.

A legend of bravery and daughterly love arrives from Karnataka. A 40-year-old woman travelling through the road in Karnataka was toppled by an speeding autorickshaw coming her way. Joined forces on the road led by her 13-year-old daughter saved her. In a video gone viral, we can see the schoolgirl wearing her schoolbag on her shoulders jumping to her mother's rescue. Can you believe she lifted the whole autorickshaw in one go? We couldn't either, catch the video below.

Caught on cam: Daughter saves mother 

Chethana, a 40-year-old woman who is a regular traveller on the Rajarathnapura road, met with an unfateful accident last friday when she was toppled by an autorickshaw arriving her way. 

She was apparently rushing towards the other side of the road to meet her daughter and the rickshaw too was heavily speeding. This led to a clash where evidently the vehicle overpowered the woman and she ended up under it's weight. Following this, her little girl jumped up to her rescue. She exhibited an insane presence of mind and composure and went straight towards lifting the auto. Her action was aided by autorickshaw driver and the fellow passenger travelling via auto.

The little girl mentioned above is Vaibhavi, she is a 13-year-old girl and Class 7 student from St. Mary's Central School in Kinnigoli. 

She has been recently making rounds on the internet for her act of courage and wisdom, with the internet audience commenting how she deserves the "National Bravery Award hosted by Rashtrapati Mohodaya."

Little girl sends a message to society: Karnataka CM 

Reacting upon the viral video, Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah appreciated the girl's prompt thinking and actions and said her reaction sends a message to society. 

He took to X and wrote, "Recently I have seen many times in the media that people who were supposed to rush to the aid of the victims were standing around and making videos on their mobile phones at the accident sites, which made me worried about the future days. The action of this little girl seems to send a message to the entire society. Every second is precious for the victims of an accident, fire or heart attack. Don't forget humanity.
