The extraordinary motorsports enthusiast is rewriting the rules and getting a taste of adrenaline as she strapped herself into the passenger seat of a Ferrari, ready for the ride of a lifetime. As the racecar hit blistering speeds, Maddox lived her thrilling dream of experiencing over 150 miles per hour on the racetrack.
Donna Maddox Racing At 94
Donna Maddox joined the 'Xtreme Xperience' at Michigan International Speedway, riding alongside a professional racer who helped her experience her love for speed. She was able to achieve her adventurous dream with the help of a program at her retirement home, Waltonwood Senior Living in Novi, Michigan.
However, this was not the first time that Maddox rode in a dashing racecar. The daredevil has even sat behind the wheel, speeding her Lincoln to over 115 miles per hour. “My mother used to say I came into this world running,” Maddox joked, speaking to the Good News Network in a recent interview.
Sharing the mantra that keeps her enthusiastic spirit shining, Maddox expressed, "If you’re alive, then live!"
Maddox has looked out for adventure all her life, as she climbed the Smoky Mountains and explored caves in her younger years. A spokesperson from her retirement home described her as a "joy to talk to and is incredibly passionate about encouraging others to chase their dreams, as well."

India has its very own rule-defying sportscar enthusiast in Radhamani, a passionate driving instructor with licenses for at least 12 kinds of vehicles. Fondly known as Maniamma, the Kerala native first took the wheel to conquer her fear of driving. In 1988, she became the founder of the State's first heavy vehicle driving school.
"One day my grandson told me, ‘Amma, you could be the only lady in Kerala to have so many licenses.' So he contacted the Indian Book of Records team and now, I have been acknowledged as the oldest lady with so many licenses. My grandson is the youngest to have these many licenses," Maniamma told SheThePeople.
