What's interesting is that Janes had first received a 25-dollar TJ Maxx gift card, however, another co-worker stole that from her and she had to eventually pick another gift which was a 25-dollar lottery ticket.

The white holiday exchange has a twist to its theme, according to reports. Gifts are usually opened in front of everyone in a group and players are then allowed to steal gifts from each other. Janes's prior gift being stolen led her to another gift which kicked off her holidays in style.

The exchange turned out to be phenomenal for an employee, Lori Janes. Janes, who works as an office manager got a scratch-off lottery ticket. She used her gift and was shocked to see she had won 175,000 dollars.

Janes had two tickets for the 25 dollars with a gift. While the first ticket made her win 50 dollars, the second ticket ticked off all fifteen spots, eventually making her win the large sum. She immediately called her spouse and children and informed them of the good news.

She told a news agency that she plans to use the winning amount to pay for her car loans and the education of her daughter, who is currently a freshman at the local university. Janes has now received a sum of 124,250 dollars post taxes
