On Tuesday, December 27, audience members of Broadway's production of Death Of A Salesman witnessed an unruly ticket buyer disrupt the performance. Star Wendell Pierce was forced to reason with the heckler from the stage until she was escorted out by the police.

During the play Death Of A Salesman at the Hudson Theatre, New York, a woman wearing a fur coat wreaked havoc during the play, disrupting the play until she was escorted out by the police.

The producers said in a statement to the New York Post, "We're grateful to the entire team at the Hudson Theatre for working together to resolve the situation and resume the performance as quickly as possible".

Woman Disrupts Death Of A Salesman

According to the people in attendance of the play, the woman was disruptive throughout Act 1 of the three-hour play. It appeared as though the woman and her companion were headed for the door after the intermission, but things took a turn when the woman decided to disrupt the entire audience and the play.

The woman started screaming and the show was stopped.

A video of the incident shows star Wendell Piece, who plays Willy Loman in Death Of A Salesman, speaking to the woman who was standing in the middle of the front row.

The video caption said, "Unfortunate disruption at beginning of Act 2 of the terrific Death of a Salesman tonight".

The 2-minute video also showed the police arriving at the scene as the audience cheered. The cheers and clapping began anew after the woman was escorted out.

A ticket buyer claimed that the woman started demanding her money back and Pierce suggested that the ushers give her her cash to end the disruption calmly.

However, Pierce's attempts to end the situation calmly were in vain, until the cops arrived on the scene and put an end to the chaos. The woman was escorted out by the police and as the show must go on, Pierce resumed acting and the play continued on.
