Actor Warwick Davis is mourning the loss of his wife and fellow actor, Samantha Davis, who passed away on March 24 at the age of 53, leaving a profound void in their family. In a statement to the BBC, Warwick expressed the depth of his sorrow, saying, "Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs."

Survived by Warwick and their two children, daughter Annabelle and son Harrison, Samantha's enduring love and joy were cherished by her family. Warwick shared that "her love and happiness carried us through our whole lives." Describing Samantha's vibrant personality, Warwick reflected, "She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life... She had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes."

Known for his roles in iconic franchises like Harry Potter and Star Wars, Warwick met Samantha while working on the film Willow. Samantha, too, had her acting credits, from the children's TV series Through the Dragon's Eye to a role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

In an interview with PEOPLE in 2022, Warwick opened up about the loss of their firstborn son due to complications from dwarfism genes. Reflecting on their shared grief, he acknowledged Samantha's unwavering support, saying, "I think it brings you closer together... But it's an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone."

Despite Samantha's mobility challenges in recent years, Warwick emphasised her resilience, stating, "With her by my side, I was sure I could achieve anything; it was like having a superpower." A touching Instagram post from October showed Warwick and Samantha enjoying a "long overdue date night," capturing a moment of happiness amid life's challenges.

In addition to their acting careers, the couple founded Willow Management in 1995, a talent agency that represents short actors. They also co-launched Little People UK in 2012, providing support to the dwarfism community.
