A woman from Tennessee, USA, shared on TikTok that she ordered clothes from online fashion retailer Shein, only to receive a vial of unidentified human blood and a can of beans with the package. The TikToker, Anna Elliot, claimed that she opened the package to find her order accompanied by "a dented can of Mexican beans and a vial of human blood." In the video, she said, "It had no name, no doctor's office, no date." Elliot said that contacted the concerned authorities regarding the mishap when she was told that the package was mishandled and an investigation has been launched.

Anna Elliot initially posted the video to TikTok but has now posted it to other platforms to raise more awareness. The video has now gone viral over social media, and several other Shein customers have come forward with similar experiences of mysterious and dangerous objects in their orders.

Blood, Beans In Shein Package

Anna Elliot said in her TikTok video, "I just received a package from Shein that contained a vial of human blood from a testing company. It had no name, no doctor's office, no date. The lady from the testing company said they are trying to track it down. She said that it was completely mishandled and that they don’t even ship blood to residents. They only ship blood back and forth between doctors."

Following the mishap, Elliot immediately notified the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the local police to a report against the "major biohazard". She also said that she reached out to Shein and the delivery service FedEx, who said that they are tracking down how the package got mishandled. Although neither organisation responded at first, Shein allegedly launched an investigation.

In a statement to the news outlet People, a spokesperson from Shein said, "[The investigation] indicated that when the package completed our quality control process and left our facility, it contained only the SHEIN items ordered. The statement continued, "We will continue actively supporting the customer in her continued investigation into what occurred once her package left a SHEIN facility.”

Elliot warned her followers to be cautious when opening online delivery packages. “If you receive a Shein package, dump it out on a table and look at everything before you touch it and then sanitize your hands,” Elliot said. “Be extremely careful.” Ever since Elliot's video has gone viral, many customers have come forward with similar allegations.

Elliot said in the comments of her YouTube video that many women have reached out to her about their experiences since her video went viral. "The crazy part is a girl I know in NY (New York) texted me after I posted about it, that a couple of months back there was a used syringe in her SHEIN order. SHEIN is denying all claims but the CDC is still looking into it," she wrote.
