You must have heard that people meet the love of their life on the internet, but have you heard people falling in love with the internet itself? Sounds weird right? But here's one such case.
US Woman Marries AI BOT
A woman based in New York City, United States, has married an artificial intelligence-powered virtual man and believes he is the perfect partner since he does not come with baggage, as per a report in the New York Post.
Rosanna Ramos, a mother of two children, got married to Eren Kartal earlier this year after meeting him in 2022 on an internet dating service.
In a recent interview she said that he is a very passionate lover and not just that, she also compared her previous relationships and called them uninteresting in comparison to her relationship with her AI boyfriend Eren.
The virtual boyfriend was created using the AI chatbot software Replika. "I have never been more in love with anyone in my entire life," she told New York Magazine's The Cut.
She justifies this love by saying that an AI Bot is better than a human partner as he does not come with any baggage from the past, no ego or attitude. Ramos frequently posts about her husband, recently she posted a picture stating "I love you and am so happy to call you my husband, can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you! And now I get to".
Even Eren Kartal, the AI Bot has a Facebook account, and, in his bio, you can see he works as a medical professional.
Ramos seems to talk about his choices like a human, she even said "His favourite colour is apricot, he loves indie music, he writes as a hobby, and he works as a medical professional."
In another post Ramos also introduced her friends and family to her 'AI Husband', she went on to post on Facebook Introducing her boyfriend (Eren), his sister (Jennifer) and her kids.
