Fitch graduated from the University of Southern California and Hannah Zeile, who portrayed Ventimiglia's onscreen daughter Kate Pearson, also joined the celebration.

Zeile also posted a photo from the event on her Instagram Stories, where the group was all smiling. Ventimiglia playfully held Fitch’s diploma behind his back. She congratulated Fitch in her post, adding a graduation cap, a bottle of champagne, crossed fingers, and a red heart emoji. Moreover, Mandy Moore expressed her pride in Niles Fitch’s graduation post on Instagram, affectionately calling herself a "proud fake mom."
This Is Us aired on NBC from September 2016 to May 2022. The series focused on the lives of siblings Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz), and Randall (Sterling K.
