This Is Us Reunion: Milo Ventimiglia Attends Co-Star Young Randall's Grad

Milo Ventimiglia continues to show his support for his This Is Us family. On May 21, the 46-year-old actor attended the graduation of Niles Fitch, who played his onscreen son, Randall Pearson. Fitch graduated from the University of Southern California and Hannah Zeile, who portrayed Ventimiglia's onscreen daughter Kate Pearson, also joined the celebration.

Ventimiglia shared a photo on his Instagram Stories, capturing a candid moment with Fitch and Zeile. In the photo, Fitch, dressed in his graduation gown, looked into the distance, while Ventimiglia had a serious expression. Zeile smiled brightly for the picture.

Zeile also posted a photo from the event on her Instagram Stories, where the group was all smiling. Ventimiglia playfully held Fitch’s diploma behind his back. She congratulated Fitch in her post, adding a graduation cap, a bottle of champagne, crossed fingers, and a red heart emoji. Moreover, Mandy Moore expressed her pride in Niles Fitch’s graduation post on Instagram, affectionately calling herself a "proud fake mom."

This Is Us aired on NBC from September 2016 to May 2022. The series focused on the lives of siblings Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz), and Randall (Sterling K. Brown), and their parents Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack (Ventimiglia). The show was known for its unique storytelling, using multiple timelines to depict the characters’ past, present, and future.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly before the series finale in 2022, Ventimiglia expressed his pride in the young actors who played the Pearson children during their teenage years. He praised Fitch, Zeile, and Logan Shroyer, who played the teenage Kevin Pearson, for their growth and performances throughout the series.

"I’m so proud of the growth all of our young actors have made," Ventimiglia said. "Watching Niles, Hannah, and Logan develop their characters and their skills over the years has been amazing." Zeile echoed Ventimiglia’s sentiments, sharing how close-knit the cast had become over the years. "I love them like family," she said of her on-screen brothers. "We’ve shared a unique experience together, and we’re extremely close."
