Pop legend Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 through a social media post. Sharing photos from the proposal, Taylor wrote a humorous caption, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married." Within an hour of it going up, the post already had more than 11 million likes.

According to People, Travis proposed with an antique-inspired rectangle Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond. He designed the ring with Kindred Lubeck via Artifex Fine Jewelry. The outlet added that Taylor's watch, which was visible in the photo, was a diamond-studded Cartier Santos Demoiselle watch paired with her “TNT” friendship bracelet by Wove, which was a Christmas gift from Kelce.
