Taylor Swift is reportedly seeing The 1975 vocalist Matty Healy and plans to announce their relationship shortly. The news comes weeks after the singer ended her six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn.
After her breakup with Joe Alwyn, Taylor was spotted in New York with her female friends Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, and the Haim sisters. Fans have also noticed that Este, Alana, and Danielle Haim, as well as Taylor's sister Austin Swift, have stopped following Joe on social media.
Sources now imply that the vocalist of Lavender Haze is dating 1975 frontman Matty Healy and is prepared to reveal the relationship this weekend while on the band's current Eras Tour, according to a report in The Sun. She and Matty are madly in love, a source claimed. Taylor and Matty have spent a lot of time FaceTiming and messaging lately because they have both been on tour, but she is eager to see him again, the source further added. She has reportedly informed her friends that Matty will be joining her for the next leg of her tour in Nashville this weekend.
Fans have leapt on apparent clues such as the pair's long friendship and the fact Taylor made a cameo at one of The 1975's recent shows.
Healy, 34, is the son of actor Denise Welch, best known for her roles in Coronation Street, Waterloo Road and Hollyoaks. She is also a panellist on the ITV daytime talk show, Loose Women.
Tim Healy, his father, is a British actor best known for playing Dennis Patterson in the comedy-drama series Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
In 2013, Matty Healy and his band released their self-titled debut album, The 1975, which reached number one in the UK charts and included popular singles Sex, Chocolate, and Robbers.
