In a comment on Gaga's TikTok video, Taylor wrote, "Can we all agree that it is invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body?" She added, "Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, and neither does any woman." Taylor's comment, made on June 5, emphasised the importance of respecting women’s privacy and their bodies.

To address the rumours, Lady Gaga posted a TikTok video. In the video, she appeared at the gym and referenced Taylor Swift’s Billboard Top 100 song Down Bad, saying, "Not pregnant—just down bad crying at the gym." This humorous yet pointed message made it clear that the pregnancy rumours were false.
