Robert De Niro’s Daughter Shares Heartfelt Posts For Actor's 81st Birthday

Drena De Niro, the daughter of legendary actor Robert De Niro, took to social media to celebrate her father on his 81st birthday. The actor and model shared a series of photos that captured some of the most cherished moments between the iconic actor and his grandchildren over the years.

The tribute began with a playful and adventurous photo of Robert De Niro enjoying a summer day. In the image, Robert De Niro, dressed in red-and-white striped swim shorts, was seen leaping off a boat into the clear blue sea. 

Accompanying this snapshot was a video showing the moment of his daring dive, where Drena’s voice could be heard in the background, expressing her amazement. "Woah, he’s so crazy," she remarked as she filmed her father in action. After the jump, Drena asked if he was alright, to which he casually responded from the water, “Yeah, I’m okay.” The post continued with Drena expressing her awe at the height of the jump, as someone informed her it was “30 feet” from the deck to the water below.

Following the adventurous clip, Drena shared a series of heartwarming throwback photos that highlighted Robert’s role as a devoted grandfather. One image showed the actor tenderly feeding a bottle of milk to Drena’s late son, Leandro De Niro-Rodriguez, when he was just a toddler. Another captured a joyful moment of the grandfather and grandson smiling together. The final photo in the series depicted Robert relaxing on a beach with two of his grandchildren by his side, a testament to the strong bond he shares with his family.

In the caption of her post, Drena poured out her love and admiration for her father. “Happy 81st Bday to my Dad and #1 ride or die .. Love you with all my ♥️♥️♥️ #BobbyD forever ✨👑✨,” she wrote.

Drena De Niro is the daughter of actor Diahnne Abbott, with whom Robert De Niro also shares a son, Raphael, 47. The veteran actor has a large and diverse family, including twin sons Julian and Aaron, 28, with his former girlfriend Toukie Smith; son Elliot, 26, and daughter Helen Grace, 12, with his ex-wife Grace Hightower; and a 16-month-old daughter, Gia, with his current girlfriend, Tiffany Chen.
