Photographer Emilio Garcia has filed a lawsuit against hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion, alleging unfair treatment and abuse during his employment. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims that Garcia was forced to watch Megan Thee Stallion engage in sexual activity, among other allegations. According to Garcia, the incident occurred after a night out in Ibiza, Spain, in 2022. He alleges that while in an SUV with Megan Thee Stallion, she began having sex with another woman right next to him. Garcia claims he was unable to leave the moving vehicle and felt embarrassed, mortified, and offended throughout the ordeal.

Photographer Claims He Was Forced To Watch Megan Thee Stallion's Intimate Act

The lawsuit further states that the next day, Megan Thee Stallion instructed Garcia never to discuss what he witnessed and subjected him to verbal abuse, including fat-shaming. Garcia also alleges that he was overworked, underpaid, and subjected to a hostile work environment due to Megan Thee Stallion's possessiveness and abusiveness.

Garcia asserts that despite his concerns, Megan Thee Stallion misclassified him as an independent contractor but treated him as an exclusive employee. When he raised these issues with her, he was fired the following day after four years of working for her.

In response to the lawsuit, Megan Thee Stallion's lawyer, Alex Spiro, stated that they would fight the claims in court. Spiro characterised the lawsuit as an employment claim for money and emphasised that no sexual harassment claim had been filed.

Garcia has since filed a job discrimination complaint with the California Civil Rights Department. In the lawsuit, he seeks financial damages to be determined at trial, alleging severe emotional and physical suffering due to his treatment on the job, the firing, and the incident in the SUV.

Megan Thee Stallion, whose legal name is Megan Pete, along with her companies Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment and Hot Girl Touring, and her label, Roc Nation, are named as defendants in the lawsuit. However, there has been no response yet from the defence, and a representative of Roc Nation has not provided a comment.

The lawsuit comes after Megan Thee Stallion's involvement in a previous legal case where she was the victim of a shooting by rapper Tory Lanez in 2020. Lanez was convicted of three felonies and sentenced to 10 years in prison. Despite the legal drama, Megan Thee Stallion has continued to rise in prominence in the music industry, winning a Grammy in 2021 and achieving chart-topping success with hits like Savage and WAP.
