Lindsay Lohan has given birth to her first child. The Mean Girls actor has welcomed a baby boy with husband Bader Shammas, the actor’s rep confirmed to media earlier today.
“The family is over the moon in love,” her rep said in a statement Monday.
The baby was born in Dubai, where the couple lives, although his exact birth date was not immediately made known.
The couple has named the baby Luai, which means “shield” or “protector” in Arabic.
The Parent Trap star, 37, used a “coming soon” onesie to announce her pregnancy in March. “We are blessed and excited,” she wrote via Instagram at the time.

Lohan has lived overseas for several years and has been married to Shammas since last year.
“I want to have kids,” she told earlier in an interview in November 2022, noting that she had “talked” to her partner about whether to continue living in Dubai as parents.
“It’s so safe there, and the schools are great. It’s so detached from everything that I’m used to. … It’s nice to have a separate world that’s my own.”
The couple secretly married in April 2022. Lohan was previously engaged to real estate mogul Egor Tarabasov in 2016
Meanwhile, on the work front, she returned to acting, starring last year in Netflix’s Falling for Christmas, and on the streaming service’s upcoming romantic comedy Irish Wish.
