Game Of Thrones Star Lena Headey Marries Marc Menchaca In Italy

Hollywood actor Lena Headey recently married actor Marc Menchaca in an intimate ceremony in Italy in the presence of limited guests over the weekend. Headey and Menchaca have been dating for quite some time now after the British actor moved to the United States post her split with her ex-partner Dan Cadan.

Lena Headey, who gained tremendous fame courtesy of her role as Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones, married her long-term partner in the presence of her co-stars Sophie Turner and Emila Clarke among others.

Lean Headey, 49, popularly known for her Game of Thrones character as the ruthless queen of seven kingdoms, found love again in Ozark actor Marc Menchaca, 46, in 2020 two years after she split with her partner Dan Cadan, with whom she shares a child. Headey donned a white sleeveless gown with a veil as Menchaca took vows in a blue three-piece wedding suit. The couple exchanged vows in Italy, and several photos from the ceremony were later shared across social media.

Headey's co-actors from Game of Thrones flew to Italy to attend the private wedding ceremony. While Sophie Turner marked her presence alongside her husband, musician Joe Jonas, Emila Clarke, Conleth Hill, Peter Dinklage, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau were among other guests to have joined the couple on their significant day.

Headey, who has five Primetime Emmy nominations and one Golden Globe nomination to her name, is a mother of two children. Headey was earlier married to a musician Peter Loughran, with whom she shares a son, Wylie Loughran. Post her split with Loughran, Headey gave birth to her daughter, Teddy, with director Dan Cadan, a childhood friend of hers. The couple separated in 2019, following which the British actor moved to the US. Headey met Menchaca in the US, and the two developed a relationship over the years. Menchaca is popular for his role as Russ Langmore in the Netflix series Ozark.

Headey will soon be starring in a comedy thriller, Svalta, alongside her co-star Nick Frost from the film, Fighting With My Family. The star also has an HBO series in the pipeline.
