Kai Madison Trump, the eldest of Donald Trump's 10 grandchildren, recently delivered a touching yet powerful speech at the Republican National Convention on July 17 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The teenager gave a glimpse into the lesser-seen side of the Republican presidential candidate, intending to humanise him. She shared cherished memories with the former US President like sneaking candy and soda and celebrating their golf achievements. The schoolgirl's speech sought to connect with the audience deeper, beyond the political rhetoric.

Donald Trump's Granddaughter Delivers Speech

Kai Madison Trump is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump. The 17-year-old took the stage at the Republican National Convention before thousands of Trump supporters to talk about a side of her grandfather that "people don't often see."

"To me, he’s just a normal grandpa," as she recalled her favourite memories with Donald Trump. "He gives us candy and soda when our parents are not looking. He always wants to know how we're doing in school. When I made the high honour roll, he presented it to his friends how proud he was of me," Kai narrated.

The teenager described the recent court cases against Donald Trump, sharing how he would continue to ask her how she was doing amid the difficult days. She added, "He encourages me to push myself to be the most successful person I can be. He sets the bar pretty high but who knows? Maybe one day I'll catch him!"

Kai also addressed the recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump and spoke about how it impacted her. "A lot of people have put my grandpa through hell and he’s still standing. The media makes my grandpa seem like a different person, but I know him for who he is... Grandpa, you are such an inspiration and I love you!"

Kai Madison Trump is a high school student and shares a love for golf with her grandfather. She posts her journey in the sport on her social media channels, where she is sometimes seen posting about Donald Trump. At the RNC, she also spoke about funny moments playing golf with the former US President.
