A recent video of a baby's opinionated response to a question from her mother made her an instant sensation. Dubbed the “Fully Conscious Baby” by viewers, the video raises the question of how much babies that age can truly understand. Since her aunt Stefanie O'Brien, 32, posted the viral Four Seasons Orlando TikTok video a week ago, Kate Wise, also referred to as the "fully conscious" baby, has garnered a lot of attention.
"Who wants to go to the Four Seasons, Orlando?"
"I want to ask everyone a question. Who would like to go to Orlando's Four Seasons?" Kate's mother requested Bailey Wise. Then Kate lifted one finger in the air and said, "Me!" Her response to the question posed by raising her hand, pointing to the air, and saying "me" had the audience in stitches. To top it off, she made funny voice-over jokes.
The video's appeal to viewers stems not only from Kate's adorable appearance in her diaper, which makes her pointer finger appear only when needed but also from how much of an understanding she seems to have and from her accurate response to such a sophisticated question. It didn't take long before the jokes started flooding into the comments of the video.
One TikTok user commented, "That baby looks like she pays taxes!" "Is this a real baby?" a third person questioned, astonished.
Another said, "I was not expecting that baby to comprehend or respond," and a third laughed, "That's a professional human."
One of the TikTok viewers' best comments is, "I think the baby is in charge of the family finances."
Dubbed the “Fully Conscious Baby” by viewers, the video raises the question of how much babies Kate’s age can truly understand. The video has also sparked others to talk about their experiences with “fully conscious” babies.
“I’m so happy that people are finally realizing that babies are conscious beings,” TikTok user Mark Roberts says in a video. He described a time when he babysat a 1-year-old who supposedly only knew three words: “Mom,” “Dad,” and “Love.” However, when they were alone, Roberts says the baby stared at him and said, “I speak more.”
“That’s four new words and basic sentence structure!” he hilariously exclaims. “I feel like that baby was just trying to avoid paying taxes or something.”
The Four Seasons uploaded their own version of the video, seeing an opportunity to have some fun with Kate's endearing moment. More than 4.8 million people watched the video, and many of them left hilarious comments.
The stitched video reads, "Who wants to welcome our newest ambassador to Four Seasons Orlando?" as hotel staff raise their fingers and Kate's famous "Me!" is heard.
"That baby makes me want to go to the Four Seasons Orlando and I didn’t even know it existed before the baby," a viewer commented. Someone else said, "The amount of people who know about the Four Seasons Orlando due to this lil cutie."
