Skyfall
This James Bond action thriller starring Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris was released in 2012. The movie featured James Bond on a mission to save his overseer M from the conspiracy of an ex-MI6 agent who has a hard drive that contains sensitive information. As Bond struggles to face his past, he has the responsibility to save the world, as well as M. The movie will be removed from Netflix on July 31.
Stepmom
This 1998 comedy-drama on Netflix stars Julia Roberts, Ed Harris, Susan Sarandon, Liam Aiken and Jena Malone in pivotal roles. The movie is about Isabel, who gets engaged to Luke, a divorced man who tries hard to get along with his two kids. His ex-wife Jackie does not like Isabel, but things change when Jackie finds out she has cancer. The movie will be discontinued on Netflix from July 31.
Julie And Julia
Meryl Steep and Amy Adams star as American chef Julia Child and author Julie Powell respectively, in this 2009 biographical movie. The movie followed flashbacks of the life of chef Julia Child, featuring her culinary journey, and Julie Powell, who decided to create a blog about cooking 564 dishes by Julia Child, mentioned in her Child's Cookbook. The movie will be removed from Netflix on July 31.
Flight
This 2012 drama film is partly based on the 2000 plane crash of Alaskan Airlines Flight 261. Denzel Washington plays the role of William 'Whip' Whitaker, who is an alcoholic pilot who saves an entire flight from crashing due to a mechanical failure. However, the mandatory investigation reveals he was drunk while flying the plane, revealing a different side of the incident. The movie was discontinued on July 31.
August: Osage County
Meryl Steep, Julia Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Chris Cooper and Benedict Cumberbatch star in this Pulitzer Prize-winning 2013 tragic comedy play. The story is about three estranged sisters who reunite after years when their father goes missing, and their dysfunctional, cancer-fighting mother calls them for help. What follows is a lot of family and personal life drama. The film will be removed from Netflix on July 26.
