Donald Trump's win may not have sat well with the whole of the USA. But it has "disillusioned" popular host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres so much that she, along with her wife, has made a life-altering decision.
Ellen, along with her wife, has decided to shift to the United Kingdom. Given Ellen's resignation from her show in 2022, she had no professional commitments stopping her there too.
To Get The Hell Out Of USA: Ellen's desire post Trump's victory
After Donald Trump presided over Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential elections, the whole of the USA was thrown away. But Ellen DeGeneres and Ellen reveal being "completely disillusioned" with this result. They are shaken to the point of wanting to leave the state forever.
According to reports, they are planning to settle in Cotswold, South West England. The pair plans to sell their home in California.
In the couple's words, after they got the result, they just wanted to get "the hell out of the USA."
When Ellen came in support of Kamala Harris
Ellen has shown her support for Kamala Harris as the next president many times in the past. According to TMZ reports, she donated 3300 dollars to Harris's election campaign.
She took to social media to support and aid Kamala's potential presidency. She dropped a post for her saying, "There is nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come!! I can't wait for Kamala Harris to be our next president."
Professionally speaking, Ellen gave up her namesake and ever-popular host show called The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2022. She reported the "toxic work environment" as the reason for her departure. Lastly, she was seen in a Netflix special called For Your Approval.
