The immensely successful Indian thriller franchise Drishyam, is set to make its mark on the global stage following its widespread acclaim in both Indian and Chinese markets. Building on the momentum of the Korean remake of the film, the franchise is now gearing up for a Hollywood adaptation. Panorama Studios, in collaboration with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films, is spearheading this ambitious project.

Gulfstream Pictures, known for producing the romantic comedy Blended starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, joins forces with Panorama Studios to bring Drishyam to Hollywood audiences. Panorama Studios has secured the international remake rights for both parts of the original film from Aashirvad Cinemas, the original producers. Plans are also underway for adaptations in the US and Korea, with discussions in progress for a Spanish-language version.

Kumar Mangat Pathak, Chairman and Managing Director of Panorama Studios, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, "Drishyam's clever narrative has a universal appeal and we are keen to celebrate this story with audiences worldwide. We are very happy to collaborate with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films to create this story in English for Hollywood. After Korea and Hollywood, our mission is to produce Drishyam in 10 countries in the next three to five years."

Mike Karz and Bill Bindley of Gulfstream Pictures echoed Pathak's sentiments, emphasising the global allure of the film. "We are very happy to collaborate with Panorama Studios and JOAT Films on an English language adaptation of ‘Drishyam.’ The film is a timeless thriller that has entranced audiences across the globe. We can't wait to bring the movie to fans here in the U.S.," they stated in a joint statement.

While preparations for the Korean and English versions are underway, Drishyam remakes have enjoyed widespread success in multiple languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Sinhala, and Chinese. With its intricate plot and universal themes, Drishyam promises to captivate audiences on a global scale, reaffirming its status as a timeless thriller cherished by viewers worldwide.
