Who Is Alki David? Coca-Cola Heir Ordered To Pay $900M In Sexual Assault Case

Alkiviades "Alki" David, the heir of Coca-Cola and the owner of Hologram USA, is caught up in a spree of sexual assault accusations. In the most recent case, the Los Angeles jury has directed him to pay a compensation of $900 million to a former employee. This is the largest-ever award with the highest compensation demanded from a sexual assault accused. The plaintiff, Jane Doe, claimed that David harassed her for three years between 2016 and 2019.  

As per the reports, the ruling was made on Monday in which Judge Christopher L. Lui asked David to pay $800 million in punitive penalty and $100 million in compensatory damage. The attorney of the survivor, Gary Dordick told a media source, "It’s so despicable, the facts of this case. He raped my client while on trial in another case." 

Details of the case

Jane Doe, a 30-year-old woman, worked for David at Hologram USA. When David hired her, she considered him a "media mogul and billionaire".

However, she found David's behaviour suspicious since the beginning of her job. Later, a female coworker told her that David had kissed her despite her will. The incident occurred Doe as well when she was on a business trip with David in 2016. They were headed to David's private island in Greece when David tried to kiss Doe. But she refused and David apologised. 

But, as per the lawsuit, Doe was fired later in 2016 and wasn't in contact with David until 2018. David offered her a job again and asked her to be the brand ambassador of Swiss-X, his cannabis-producing outlet. 

Doe accepted the job offer. David then gave her a tour of his hotel room and showed her a sample of the firm which he claimed was a CBD product. When Doe started feeling drunk and confused under the influence of the sample, David allegedly masturbated and made her touch his penis. 

As per the lawsuit, Doe further claimed that David assaulted her in a small room again in 2019. 

Other sexual assault accusations on David

As per the reports, David has been found guilty in several cases of sexual assault and sexual misbehaviour leading to a total amount of $70 million in compensation paid by him and his company. 

In 2019, he was under trial for sexual violence against Mahim Khan, his former production assistant. Khan won the case with $58 million in sexual assault damage compensation.
