The trailer of Zendaya's much-awaited sports rom-com is finally out.
The film is directed by Luca Guadagnino popularly known for films like Call Me By Your Name and Bones And All. The film stars the Emmy Awards winner Josh O'Connor best known for his role as Prince Charles in the British Monarch's epical drama series The Crown. Mike Faist, from West Side Story fame, also stars in Challengers.

The film's first trailer sees Zendaya playing the role of a prodigy tennis player Tashi Duncan stuck in a love triangle between two best players. Duncan is a pro tennis player who is forced to turn into a coach after her knee injury. Tashi's husband Art Donaldson played by Mike Faist is in his losing slump and Tashi has the challenge to save his career for the sake of both of them.
Tashi preps her husband Art for the tennis tournament Challengers which can only bring his career back. The story takes an interesting twist when the player-coach couple meets the old rival Patrick played by Josh O'Connor.
Patrick is Art's ex-best friend and a rival in the upcoming big tennis tournament Challengers while also being ex-boyfriend to Tashi, which connects the three tennis players' past and present. The three in flashback scenes are portrayed as teenagers who knew each other from tennis tournaments.
Rihanna's S&M plays in the backdrop giving power to the chaos in the story and boss power to Zendaya's unapologetic role of Tashi Duncan.
Fasten your belts as the Hollywood film is all prepared to grace the theatres on 15 September.
