Women often tend to ignore small changes in their health considering it to be a change in lifestyle. However, trivial-looking changes in health can turn out to be warnings of more serious issues. One woman who thought her burping issue was nothing more than acidity learned that she actually had stage 3 cancer.
The ignorance of minor health issues can make them severe but sometimes, the health issues we think to be common or trivial are actually an indication of something more grave.
A woman in the US thought she was having normal acidity as she constantly burped. Later, she learned the burping was a warning sign that she was suffering from stage 3 cancer.

Burping Woman Diagnosed With Cancer
A 25-year-old woman named Bailey McBreen from Florida started having burping issues out of nowhere in 2021. She would burp about 5 to 10 times a day, which was not normal for her.
Reportedly, she ignored the issue considering it to be a change in her eating habits or some other trivial thing. Soon she started losing her appetite which further transformed into stomach cramps and acid reflux.
When the cramps got out of hand, she decided to get it checked by a doctor. The doctor performed a CT scan revealing that she had stage 3 colon cancer and a tumour was blocking her large intestine.
Burping is not a symptom of colon cancer but in McBreen's case, the burping was caused by an obstruction in the large intestine. McBreen reportedly said that when she found out about the cancer, she told herself she didn't want to die so soon.
The 25-year-old McBreen spoke with NeedToKnow and revealed that she never would have thought that a minor case of burping was actually cancer. McBreen had to undergo emergency surgery and post removing the tumour, she was shifted to chemotherapy.
McBreen said that she believes her burping was linked with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which was caused by the tumour causing a complete bowel obstruction.
The nurse also revealed that during the 10 months leading up to the diagnosis, she was the healthiest she had ever been. She added that "Cancer does not discriminate" and said it was important to listen to your body.
