Angered by the comment, Adele called out the commenter in a video that quickly went viral on social media. The singer retorted, "Did you come to my f***ing show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you f***ing stupid? Don’t be so f****** ridiculous. If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, all right?"

Her bold response received widespread praise online. One fan wrote on X/Twitter, "I love Adele for this!" Another commented, "Adele always speaks her mind; that’s why I love her; she doesn’t give af," while another added, "To have ADELE of all people go off on you means you REALLY said something wrong." Many highlighted how embarrassing it must be to be called out by the star you paid to see.

Adele has long been a vocal advocate for Pride, calling the LGBTQ+ community her “soul mates since I was really young.” She has consistently shown support for the community throughout her career. In 2016, following an attack on members of the LGBTQ+ community, she dedicated her “entire show to everybody in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub last night.”

This incident isn’t the first time Adele has stood up for her fans during a concert. In August 2023, she went viral for pausing her performance of "Water Under the Bridge" to defend a fan who was being hassled by a security guard. Spotting the situation from the stage, she asked, "What is going on there with that young fan who’s been bothered so much since I came on for standing up?" She then addressed the security guard, saying, "Why are you bothering him? Can you leave him alone, please? They won’t bother you anymore, darling. You enjoy the show. Leave him alone."

Netizens Impressed

Adele's commitment to her fans and her willingness to speak out against hate have only endeared her more to her audience.
