According to the Free Press Journal, Sowmya Janu's behaviour escalated further physically. She allegedly tore Vignesh's uniform and snatched his phone away as he attempted to record the incident. The altercation reportedly disrupted the traffic flow, attracting the attention of bystanders who tried to intervene as Latha kept her car parked in the middle of the road for half an hour.

Traffic Police SI of Banjara Hills, Rakesh Reddy told Times Of India, that Latha kept her car in the middle of the road for half an hour causing inconvenience to others and made a few objectionable statements on an on-duty officer who was diligently performing his duties.
