Public display of affection is fine, but if it happens at the cost of endangering lives, how can it not be reprimanded? A recent video of a Hyderabad couple kissing from the sunroof of a car has been doing viral rounds on the internet.
The couple are seen engaging in an intimate kiss as the car speeds through the PV Narasimha Rao Expressway in Hyderabad. The police haven’t reacted to the video yet.
Hyderabad Couple Kiss From Sunroof Of Moving Car
The video shows the man wearing a white T-shirt kissing a woman several times. The man is then seen waving his hand in the air and enjoying their drive from the sunroof of a KIA Seltos car. While the couple seemed to have a nice time, they completely ignored the responsibility they had towards fellow commuters on the road.
The video since being shared on the internet has caused massive outrage from netizens, who are calling on the police to take stringent action as it concerns the safety of people. One user hoped the Hyderabad city police would take action against this unsafe driving mode and the inconvenience it caused to the public.
Another user commented that in the process of developing the city, people seemed to have missed out on basic ethics, principles, and acceptable social behaviour before adding that the concerned department should take serious action.
A third user claimed to be a pro-PDA person but stated that they find this stupid as one sudden break would put the lives of the couple and others around them at risk.
Some users opined in support of the couple. One user pointed out that apart from coming out on the sunroof of a moving car, the couple did nothing wrong. Another user said that until they weren’t disturbing others, it was okay.
Jaipur Couple Kissing On Moving Bike
Earlier in August, a Jaipur couple were caught kissing on a moving bike amid heavy traffic. The man who was riding the bike was seen turning his face to kiss the woman sitting behind him. Neither of them is wearing a helmet. A fellow commuter recorded a video of this act and uploaded it on social media. After it went viral, the couple received severe backlash from netizens for being irresponsible and endangering not only their lives but also the lives of others. A senior traffic police officer ordered action against the rider for violating the traffic rules.
Delhi Couple PDA on Moving Bike
In June, another couple on a moving bike were seen engaging in PDA in Delhi. The woman was sitting in front of the man's motorcycle tank and hugging him while the man rode the bike. The man was wearing a helmet, but the woman wasn’t. According to the caption of the video, the incident happened on Delhi’s outer ring road flyover near Manolpuri on June 16 at 7.15 p.m.
The Delhi traffic police thanked the user for bringing the incident to public attention and urged people to report such incidents on the Delhi Traffic Police Sentinel App.
