Human beings have been travelling since time immemorial for different purposes. Some do it for work, some for rejuvenation while for some it is a passion. Whatever the reason be, we all agree it brings a remarkable shift in our perspective towards our situations, circumstances and our way of living. Opens up your mind
Shubhreet Kaur, a former business journalist and news anchor believes that there is so much more to travelling than just seeing new places. "It can really open up the way your mind thinks. I feel my travels have impacted my views on life, relationships, parenting, etc. There are so many things I learned and observed in other countries and cultures that I have incorporated in my life because it made sense to me," According to Shubhreet, travelling also boosts your inner confidence and helps you discover things that you didn’t know you were capable of doing.
Exposes you to the diversity that the world has to offer
Travelling has a very deep meaning for Himani Mishra, Founder of Brand Radiator who admits that travelling teaches you that this world is an amalgamation of differences in many aspects, "and yet all of us come together to form a hue that makes humanity a brighter horizon," she adds.

Makes you humble
Pune based author and former travel writer Tanushree Podder says that she finds travel to be very exhilarating because it gives her a feeling of freedom. "For that particular duration, you are so caught in the things that you see, that you can actually forget everything that needs your attention back home. You are exposed to so many things which make you realise how huge and diverse the world is." It is the magnitude of it, she says, that humbles us.

Bonding with family
Keeping in view the hectic lives we are leading, spending family time is becoming rarer. Travelling, fortunately, brings families closer and helps them rekindle their bond. And that's exactly what Founder of Da Milano Shivani Malik does.

It helps me take away all the stress from my life, as I am constantly trying to balance work and kids," she tell us.
