Swati Piramal is passionate about science and believes women are best suited to pursue the subject. As a person who sits on the board of overseers at Harvard she has views on how leadership is taught at schools. She urges Indian B-Schools to be open to change and adapt new technology and methods in teaching. She surprised everybody around her by taking up a postgraduate course in Public Health at Harvard University after her marriage and having children. Today she marshals innovation and creativity and insists science allows you to explore these in their truest form. In this interview, she is assertive about the need for women to lead because they are inherently collaborative and sustain team aside of having merit in their work.
