Where nothing is Swacch, dirt is part of daily lives

Far, far away from Clean India campaigns, people in India live, breathe, and work in villages and surrounding areas with zero fundamental amenities such as clean drinking water and public conveniences. One such place is the village of Gaurhari in the Mahoba district of Bundelkhand, which has not been cleaned in the past two months resulting in an overflowing of sewer water that is now everywhere. In this cesspool of disease-breeding toxicity, the locals complain of the state of their lives, the stench, while the authorities display absolute apathy.
