Survey: What women entrepreneurs want from #StartUpIndia

Women entrepreneurs in India are central to the country's StartUp boom. They are redefining the way India does business & grows its reach. From ecommerce to social impact, women are pairing intellect, business acumen and their special skills to transform economic growth. However they are challenges they face - sometimes as gender discrimination and at other times for scaling up, growth and mentorship.

SheThePeople.TV conducted a detailed survey with female founders across India. And here are those findings in a nutshell.

STARTUP INDIA INITIATIVE

India's top women entrepreneurs will be at the StartUp Day initiative organised by the government of India, led by DIPP Secretary Amitabh Kant. Radhika Agarwal of Shopclues, Suchi Mukherjee of Limeroad, Priyanka Gill of PopXo, Pranshu Patni of Culture Alley and many other female founders will be present at this mega event.

The event celebrate the power of entrepreneurship in India and will be attended by CEOs and founders of top startups (over 2000) from across the country. Different panel discussions through the day will put the spotlight on incubation, innovation, growth, funding and creativity. The closing session will be addressed by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, who will formally launch the initiative and unveil the startup Action Plan.
