Shachi Irde is mentoring women to approach careers differently

Mentor by nature, Shachi Irde is executive director of Catalyst India WRC and member of the Catalyst India Advisory Board based in Bangalore. Irde is one of the key pilots of the institution, which works with women at work and expanding the opportunity for women.

Irde brings an experienced background in business development, marketing, human resources. She shares that approx. 67% of employers in India are struggling to fill jobs and worry about keeping top talent. The only way to resolve this 'embarrassing situation' according to her is by educating them and shedding light on the need for a more diverse workforce.
