She grew up in Vasco in Goa and it wasn't easy to come out. Once in Mumbai she realised she was bisexual and faced a lot of discrimination from men and women. Sonal Giani, now a full time LGBT rights activist is determined to get people aware of the struggles and challenges once faces but equally wants them to know coming out is the biggest favour they can do for themselves. Not only did she take her mom into confidence, eventually she stopped veiling things at the workplace too.
