Woman Gives Class X Exams After Wedding: 45-year-old Giji Mol sat for her class 10 equivalency exam after getting married on the same day. The differently abled woman appeared for her exam in Alappuzha in Kerala. She wants to complete her education which she left halfway as she had to drop out of her school.
She, however, is quite optimistic about completing her education and getting a job now. Her passion for earning is pushing her to complete her education now. She wants to find a suitable job that lets her overcome her physical challenges. She married her husband Sunil Kumar. After the wedding ceremony got over, she visited the exam hall to write her examinations, as per sources.
She told ANI that her exam date coincided with her wedding day but she didn't want to miss it. She wanted to work but the fact that she hadn't completed her 10th class was an issue as she wasn't able to find a job because of that. She also added that everyone should complete their education. She will be appearing in four more exams.

It is heartening to see women working hard to pursue their dreams. Age is definitely not a barrier for them. Another such woman with an inspiring story is Lakyntiew Syiemlieh. She is a 50-year-old Meghalaya woman, a single mother and grandmother who cleared her Class XII exams in 2020. This achievement came 32 years after she dropped out of school. Her overall pass percentage was 74.34. Khasi, Political Science, Economics, Education and English were her subjects.
She told Indian Express that she was happy despite getting a third division. Her children were thrilled to know about her result. She called the result day as the happiest day of her life. Read more here.
