Meet the young trekker and runner of India, Swakriti Insan. An 8-year-old girl from Delhi has made many of us proud after she scaled a mountain with an altitude height of 4000 metres! And this is not even her first time with such a remarkable feat! Meet Swakriti Insan who recently climbed the snowy landscape of Annapurna Base Camp of Nepal to reach the snowy white tips of the mountain in a single day! Swakriti who is just 8, reportedly climbed the mountain in three days and descended in a single day without any halts except a lunch break while she was descending. And this remarkable feat is just one of her many achievements with aspirations higher than her hike!

Meet Swakriti Insan; 8-Year-Old Who Scaled Annapurna Base Camp

Swakriti Insan, a determined young trekker from Delhi, has achieved an incredible feat by reaching the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) in Nepal. At just eight years old, Swakriti's accomplishment has not only captured the hearts of many but also highlighted her potential for a future filled with adventure. 

The trek to ABC is no easy feat. Located at an altitude of 4,130 meters, the journey requires physical endurance and mental fortitude. But for Swakriti, the challenge was embraced with enthusiasm. It took her only three days to ascend to the base camp from Jinudada, Pokhara, showcasing her remarkable stamina.

Swakriti's triumph is even more impressive considering her past achievements. Even at the young age of five, during the COVID-19 lockdown, she was known for running up to 10 kilometres. This dedication to fitness has clearly paid off, allowing her to conquer the challenging Himalayan trails.

Her journey wasn't just about reaching the destination; it was also about the experience. Swakriti interacted with fellow trekkers from various countries, including Nepal, Singapore, Spain, and the USA. Her infectious enthusiasm is said to have inspired her fellow trekkers throughout the trek.

This accomplishment is just the beginning for Swakriti. Standing amidst the majestic peaks of the Annapurna range, she already has her sights set on even bigger goals. Her next challenge? Reaching the Everest Base Camp is a testament to her unwavering spirit and love for adventure. 

When Swakriti was asked if she wanted a Barbie for her recent feat she blatantly answered "No, I want to go on more challenging treks" showcasing her confidence and determination. Swakriti's story is an inspiration to young and old alike. It demonstrates that with dedication and passion, anything is possible.
