While managing her job and children, Neena Gupta raised Masaba Gupta as a single mother. Masaba, on the other hand, is divorced and has a business that she is constantly battling for. They are in conflict with one another and with others. The conflict between an overbearing mother and an independent-minded daughter has been played out countless times, but they always reconcile. Masaba Gupta takes on the character of herself and does a fantastic job.
