On the weekend of Diwali, Four More Shots Please! season 3 was released. Excitement was very high around what this season would bring. Of the four main characters, Siddi Patel's role is what grabs our attention! It was really interesting to see how she changed from a timid to a brave young woman.
In season 3 of Four More Shots Please! the characters have emerged with stronger personalities. A lot of equations have changed from the past seasons.
Maanvi Gagaroo As Siddhi In Four More Shots Please! Has Stolen My Heart
One such character in Four More Shots Please! is Siddhi Patel, who is portrayed by the extraordinarily gifted Maanvi Gagaroo.
Patel's life has a variety of ups and downs, from being a shy, endearing girl from a wealthy Gujju family to having a difficult childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. Whereas her mother Sneha constantly makes her feel horrible about the way her body looks and forces her to get married and live up to her high expectations.
She searches for her calling amidst the upheaval of her love life and the never-ending family drama in an effort to fit into society's expectations.
It can confidently be stated that Patel won viewers' hearts in the first season with her audacious decision to create a profile on an adult website in the course of her self-discovery. Her secret eventually comes out after she gets blackmailed for a special presentation by the father of her fiance.
The character rises and acquires respect by refusing to give in and resisting pressure. ">Season 3 is currently focused on her father's death and how Siddhi and her mother Sneha deal with the consequences.
Siddhi attempts to put her wounded heart back together and focus on her friendship with the girls.
Siddhi Grows Up
Patel's personality has had significant growth throughout the last season. She travels alone in Istanbul, does stand-up comedy, and, most significantly, advocates for herself when it came to her relationship with her parents. She was also making decisions about her love life and her friendships.
Siddhi may appear to be the cheerful girl next door, but this time as the plot develops, the character's perspective changes and she becomes more willing to give life a chance and choose her own destiny.
After her father passed away, she takes interest in his business. She proposes for investing in Umang's fitness Studio. This was quite a turning point in her character as the immature and spoilt Siddhi tries to take up responsibility for the first time. She helps her friend Umang who needed money and also tries to experience entrepreneurship.
She may make you weak in the knees with laughter, but Ms. Harmonal Patel (her stage name) is always looking to advance her career. She takes time to go back to comedy after her father's death but she is no more the immature person that she used to be and takes a step towards improving her skill.

Siddhi And Sneha Starts A New Life
We have seen throughout the past two seasons that Siddhi and her mother Sneha do not get along well. She iss never a favourite of Siddhi because of her normative behaviour. But in this period following the death of her father, their equation alter. Now, their relationship becomes more like that of friends.
The Indian culture prohibits widows from celebrating or smiling. In the episodes, they attend a party where Siddhi's father's friends try to provoke her mother in order to help her out. Many of her mother's acquaintances visit them at home and question her attractiveness and character.
Sneha has undoubtedly fragmented. However, Siddhi tries to protect her mother from ill-intentioned men. She pushed her to enrol in classes to divert her mind. Sneha eventually gets comfortable with a man who treats her differently than the other men but Sidhi felt insecure about it. But the mother-daughter duo solves their issues and both of them push each other to choose what makes them happy instead of sacrificing their happiness for the sake of what society would say.
Four More Shots Please! Defy Stereotypes
The show questions, why should a woman cease living once her spouse passes away. They are depressed and broken, but that is not what makes the whole identity of the women. If she does, then everyone will assume that she is pretending to win people over.
The director conveyed a message through Siddhi's character which is wonderful and everyone should embrace it. Her persona teaches us that acceptance comes from within, not from outside influences. Siddhi has finally found some answers for herself thanks to a solo stand-up performance and enrolling in the comedy course.
Thank you Siddhi Patel for defying stereotypes about body image, relationships, and professional choices since I could absolutely relate to her in some ways.
