Shopping For Weddings : Have You Tried These For A Different Wedding?

The wedding season is here! The brides who are the centre of attention want their wedding to be a bit hatke. We have curated a list that makes your wedding different and memorable one this wedding season . Shopping for Indian weddings needn't be the usual!

The bride's look is the most important aspect of any wedding. With numerous weddings happening this season, it is quintessential for a bride to have a wedding attire that is different and stands apart from the rest of the brides. To make things easier for shopping for Indian weddings, here is a list of a few different wedding shopping essentials for the bride :

1.  A saree/lehenga that is sustainable so that the bride can wear her saree/lehenga again and again. This upcycle idea is very beneficial especially in India due to the number of weddings or poojas that one attends where they need to wear traditional clothes. This eco-friendly approach is different yet necessary for the brides to follow. You can take inspiration from Dia Mirza's wedding look where she wore a red saree that was sustainable.

2. Red is usually the colour of the bride. The brides can have a different take on the wedding look by choosing to wear a different colour. Some choose even white rather than the traditional red lehenga that is worn usually by all the brides. Rhea Kapoor chose to wear a white saree and it looked so special and different.

3.  The brides are usually decked up with a lot of jewellery. Do something different by wearing minimalistic jewellery on your D-day to look elegant, simple, edgy yet so stunning. Try a simple Kundan neckpiece or a mini necklace or a simple diamond choker. You can go for a no neckpiece look as well for something totally different.

4. The wedding is a long day for the bride so it is important to be comfortable. If one does not feel comfortable in a saree or lehenga then go for a pantsuit. It will look so classy and different when worn with a few accessories. What is more important is the bride being happy on her day and not constantly having to care about her saree pallu or carrying her lehenga around.

5. Ditch the heels or traditional sandals and go for those cool sneakers. Weddings nowadays have a lot of walking and dancing which makes it hard for a bride to do those things with heels or sandals.  Be a cool different bride by wearing a pair of sneakers and pump up some sass into your bridal look.

6. Take something from your Mother's or grandmother's vintage collection like Yami Gautum to keep it simple, elegant and special. It will add a sentiment to the bridal outfit and stand out from the rest of the brides. Try something different while sticking to your roots.
