Often sexism and prejudice are associated with female community, as women face it more prominently. Whether it is clothes, work, or responsibilities, women always got the shorter end of the stick and were subjected to unfair treatment by the patriarchal society. However, does that mean men do not face sexism. No! They do face it, in fact go through such treatment at the hands of the society.
It would be wrong to say that the society do not torture the male community at all. Though they gave men the power, they also gave them harsh stereotypes and if not followed, they are mocked and considered un-manly. Such an unfair treatment from society is called reverse sexism. It has existed for a long time but ignored for years. Men are now coming out and telling world their ordeals.

Incidents Of Sexism Against Men
A thread shared by AskReddit asked the social media platform users, "What is sexist towards men that society just accepts?" and the comment section was full of personal incidents and actual situations where men faced sexism. A user wrote, "When you're a dad, and everyone assumes you don't know what you're doing, especially if mom isn't with you." This is very similar to women getting, "Do you know how to do that" when it comes to work like plumbing and engineering.
Just like every woman in stereotyped to love gossiping and are pitched against each other in TV series, men face that stereotype too. A user pointed out the sexism in TV shows and wrote, "Exacerbated by nearly every TV show and commercial treating the dad like an idiot." And if you think that only women are judged for their clothes, read what this Reddit user pointed out, "Women can wear skirts to work, but men cannot wear shorts. I run hot!". Another example of double standards from the point of view of a man with a corporate job.
A Reddit user wrote, "No baby changing tables in men’s bathrooms". The society has always expected women to take care of a child and even public places like female public washrooms have baby changing tables. Is it not a father's duty to look after the needs of the child because it is his too. Also what about the single dads who have to change their babies when they are in public places.
Another user pointed out a very common stereotype that men face and wrote, "As a dad, I can't talk to another kid at a park that's playing with my son without being labeled as a creeper or pedophile. And I'm just as guilty of this because of how society perceives men. Even I'm suspicious of other men interacting with my 3 year old son when I know how it feels. It's just so normalized that I can't even break from my own frustration". It is disturbing how a mother playing and acting childish with a child is found adorable while a father doing same is considered suspicious.
Sexism is the unfair treatment of one community and one thing that the entire comment section reflected was how the society judges men and women equally but for completely opposite things. While women are judged for working after marriage and kids, men are expected to be bread winners for the family. While it is the duty of a mother to take of the child, a father doing the same is called less manly.
It is not the fault of the people, it is the fault of the society that always pitches men and women against each other. The reality is that the society tortures both men and women. This situation can be changed when men and women will understand that a good society is one where they are treated equally and fairly and are allowed to do whatever they want without the society deciding it for them. If men and women come together and work on this together, they can definitely beat the society and the toxic sexism that exists in the world.
Next time when you judge a men over its gender think twice, because your are not judging but being sexist!
